Course Terms and Conditions

These are the terms and conditions to which Applicants / Course Participants agree when registering for any of the Kipidi One Day Courses (“Course”) facilitated by Amanda Mathule representing KiPiDi Entrepreneurship College Proprietary Limited (“KiPiDi”).
Payment
- Payment is only accepted by way of Electronic Funds Transfer. Cash payments cannot be accepted.
- Registration will not be confirmed until proof of payment of the Course fee is received and the funds have cleared.
- The Course fee is payable no later than five (5) working days prior to the commencement date of the Course.
Registration Procedure and Course Fee Payment
- Your Application is a request to KiPiDi to reserve a place for you on the Course. All Applications are subject to acceptance by KiPiDi.
- Application to register for a Course is made by filling in the online registration form available on Google Forms by clicking on the registration button provided on the Course description web page.
- Upon submitting the registration form the Applicant will receive a system generated email confirming receipt of the the registration form along with the bank account details into which payment of the Course fee must be made.
- Proof of payment must be sent to the email address provided in the system generated email, amanda@kipidibizcollege.co.za . The Business Name must be used as the payment reference.
- Once proof of payment has been received and the funds have cleared, KiPiDi, using the email address provided by the Applicant on the registration form, will email the Applicant their confirmation of registration.
- By completing the online application form, the Applicant indicates that the Applicant has read, understood and accepted these terms and conditions.
Attendance
- Course Participants will not be able to attend class unless proof of payment of the Course fee is received by KiPiDi and the funds have cleared prior to commencement date of the Course.
- The Course Participant’s failure to attend class for whatever reason shall in no way entitle the Course Participant to a reduction/refund in fees.
Cancellation and Refunds
Cancellation by KiPiDi
- KiPiDi reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the Course, on the basis of insufficient demand or on any other reasonable ground, by giving the Applicant notice in writing sent to the email address designated in the registration form , at any time up to the day before the Course start date.
- If KiPiDi cancels the Course before the commencement date of the Course, and the Applicant has paid the Course fee in full, the Applicant will be eligible for a full refund of the Course fee actually paid or credit towards the same Course on an alternative date.
- In no event will KiPiDi be liable for any losses which the Applicant may suffer consequent upon cancellation by KiPiDi of the Course pursuant to this clause.
Cancellation by Applicant
Where the Applicant has received confirmation of registration and has submitted proof of payment of the Course fee and the funds have cleared:
- Cancellation by the Applicant by giving KiPiDi notice in writing sent to the email address designated in the registration form for email communication, less than ten (10) working days before the commencement date of the Course will result in liability for full payment of the Course fee and no refund shall be payable.
- Cancellation by the Applicant by giving KiPiDi notice in writing sent to the email address designated in the registration form for email communication, more than ten (10) working days before the commencement date of the Course will result in a cancellation fee of 50% of the Course fee.
Certificate of Attendance
- KiPiDi prides itself in the quality of its training courses and strives to maintain quality levels at least commensurate with if not better than prevailing industry standards.
- A Certificate of Attendance / Completion may be issued to the Applicant if the Applicant attended all modules of the Course and has completed the Course to our reasonable satisfaction.
Legal Declaration of Indemnity
By accepting these Terms and Conditions the Applicant:
- Acknowledges that KiPiDi does not accept responsibility for damage or loss in respect of property of the Applicant or in respect of property brought onto KiPiDi venues by the Applicant.
- Hereby indemnifies indemnifies KiPiDi against any risk, loss or damage of whatsoever nature or kind arising out of any claim, which may be preferred against KiPiDi as a result of any happening of whatsoever nature or kind which may take place on the premises of KiPiDi, or in connection with the affairs and activities of KiPiDi in which the Applicant takes part. Neither KiPiDi nor any official employee or representative of KiPiDi acting in his/her capacity as such shall be liable for any damage arising out of the death, bodily harm, loss of health or illness of any Applicant howsoever caused.
- Hereby holds KiPiDi free from any claim of whatsoever nature or kind arising out of any loss or damage which may be suffered by the Applicant whilst on the premises of KiPiDi or in connection with the activities of KiPiDi, arising from any cause whatsoever. Neither KiPiDi nor any official employee or representative of KiPiDi acting in his/her capacity as such shall be liable for any damage to any property owned by or in the custody of any Applicant, howsoever caused.
- Hereby indemnifies KiPiDi against any claim made against KiPiDi in respect of any damages arising out of the fault of the Applicant
- Shall be responsible to pay for all damage or loss caused by the Applicant to any property of KiPiDi or any other person lawfully on the premises of KiPiDi.
