Amanda is an entrepreneur, family business owner and blogger of all things pertaining to business families. Thrust into the hot seat of running the family taxi business Amanda recognised quickly how the involvement of family changes everything. Armed with this insight Amanda wrote her first book Business Families | Someone has to lead in which she shares through her Business Family Model the “family business technology” she wished she had been aware of when she first assumed responsibility for the Mathole family business.

Passionate about the role entrepreneurship can play in empowering those who are unemployed in Kasi, Amanda is currently focused on building KiPiDi into an ecosystem to support township entrepreneurs and thereby enhance the culture of entrepreneurship in South Africa and contribute to the triple challenge of unemployment, poverty, and inequality.

In her most recent publication Entrepreneurship Starts Here | Know it Practise it Do it, Amanda shares with the reader her journey of acquiring the knowledge and skills entrepreneurs require if they are to successfully launch and grow their business.
